All elements of this site (logo, text, layout, photographs, illustrations) are the property of Carrousel. Any reproduction or distribution, in whole or in part, without prior written permission is prohibited.

The atmosphere and cocktail photographs were produced specifically for this site and do not depict identifiable real people.

4. Personal data (GDPR)

This is a showcase site: there is no customer account and no payment. When they are offered, the booking and private-hire forms send nothing to a server: they prepare an email in your own mail app, which you choose whether to send. The only personal data processed is therefore what you email us (name, contact details, date, number of guests, message).

This data is used solely to handle your request. It is never sold, shared or used for advertising, and is kept only as long as needed.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data. To exercise it: lecarrouselbar@gmail.com. You may also contact the French authority CNIL (cnil.fr).

5. Cookies & trackers

This site sets no cookies: no analytics, no advertising trackers, no social pixels, no embedded maps or videos.

To show up-to-date information (opening hours, announcements, events, cocktail of the week), pages read it on opening from our database, hosted by Supabase Inc. in the European Union (Paris). As with any web page, your IP address is technically passed to this provider; no personal data is stored or used for any other purpose.

Fonts are served from our own domain (no requests to Google Fonts) and the drinks menu is built into the site at publication time.

One strictly functional exception: when you pick a language on the digital menu, that choice is kept in your browser (local storage “carte-lang”) so the table QR code reopens the menu in your language. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings. To stay readable when the signal is weak, the digital menu also keeps a copy of its pages and images in your browser cache: these are the site’s public files, no data about you.

Since no consent is required in the absence of non-essential trackers, no cookie banner is displayed — in line with CNIL guidance, which requires consent only for non-essential trackers.

6. Image rights

If a photograph concerned you and you would like it removed, write to lecarrouselbar@gmail.com and it will be taken down promptly.

7. Alcohol

Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health, please drink responsibly. Selling alcohol to minors is prohibited.
